COACH
Michele Woldman
Michele was born and raised in California. She would never have considered herself an athlete even though she was on the track team for her senior year in high school, just for the letter. However, she has always had an interest in health which lead to getting her education in occupational safety and health. Three years after meeting her husband, getting married, and having a baby, she and her family made their way East to NC. They finally settled in the Statesville area in 2008.
In 2012, at the age of 47, Michele was introduced to CrossFit as “functional fitness” with the workout “Grace.” Michele joined CFFD in 2019 and quickly progressed in strength, movement, and abilities. She said she would never compete, but low and behold, she took 1st place, in the scaled division, at a masters competition in TX in 2022! Eager to share her love for and knowledge of CrossFit to others, she decided to coach. She is the primary coach for our Legends and Learners classes which is designed for the athlete that wants to stay active and learn new things but may be a little hesitant to try CrossFit. She is a firm believer in “everybody can do CrossFit” and that CrossFit can provide you with a longer, healthier life.
